my record uptime box just blew a power supply. i have quite a history with this box. it once ran red hat 7.3 and i decided to install gentoo on it remotely. besides that actually almost working, i should point out that it was a pentium 233 mmx with a mere 128mb ram. gentoo took over a week to build properly. then once it was up it stayed up..... for ages
